- After the 1976 season Sal Bando joined the exodus of players from the Oakland A's and signed a 5-year contract with the Milwaukee Brewers. Sal displaced Don Money from the starting third base job, but Money got plenty of playing time by playing several different positions. Bando was a solid starter for his first two seasons in Milwaukee but by 1979 he started to slow down.
