1977 Topps Baseball #589 - Mike Cosgrove

  • Mike Cosgrove didn't pitch in the majors in 1977. Mike was released at the end of spring training. He spent the season with three different minor league teams.
  • After the 1977 season Cosgrove was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the Rule 5 draft. He was then sent to the Toronto Blue Jays sometime before the 1978 season in an unknown transaction. Cosgrove was then dealt to the St. Louis Cardinals on March 23 for Mickey Scott. Either he was injured or he didn't make the team.
