1977 Topps Baseball #594 - Biff Pocoroba


  • Biff Pocoroba was the starting catcher for the 1977 Braves. It was by far Biff's best offensive season. His fielding was slightly above average, but he allowed 103 stolen bases in 100 games behind the plate.

  1. Back in the mid-1970s, I thought "If only (Mets' pitcher) Bob Apodaca played for the Braves."

    Atlanta would have had the most interesting battery since the 66/67 Cubs threw Bob Hendley & Randy Hundley out there.
