1977 Topps Baseball #30 - Greg Luzinski


  • All-Star cards were a valued commodity. They had extra value in the flipping and "war" games we played
  • Here is a good 1977 newspaper article about Greg
  • 1977 Stats:
    • Regular season: .309, 39 HR, 130 RBI, led NL with 140 strikeouts
    • All Star Game: 1 for 2 with a 2-run home run (off of Jim Palmer)
    • NL Championship Series: 4 for 14 (.286) with 1 HR and 2 RBI

  1. Great card. Luzinski, Garvey, Jones and Kingman were an oasis in all the desert of Reds All-Stars in the '77 set.
