- This was the last season of Ken McMullen's long career. Ken was sold to the Milwaukee Brewers in February 1977. Ken started the 1977 season on the disabled list with back problems. He spent 1977 with the Brewers and was released after the season.

- Aug 21 - Hit a 2-run homer to help fuel a six-run inning as the Brewers beat the Chicago White Sox 7-1.
- Sept 14 - Entered the game as a pinch hitter and hit a 2-run home run in the 8th inning. It was Ken's final major league at bat. At the time the Brewers had a 6-5 lead over the Seattle Mariners. The Brewers won the game 8-5.
