1977 Topps Baseball #21 - Ken Forsch
- 1977 Stats:
- 5-8, 2.72 ERA, 8 saves in 42 games (5 starts)
- 1977 Highlights:
- April 8 - Pitched the 9th and 10th innings, allowed no runs, and earned the win in the first game of the season.
- April 13 - Entered the game in the top of the 9th inning and set the Cincinnati Reds down in order. The Astros won the game in the bottom of the 9th.
- July 2 - Started a game against the Braves and allowed one run in 11 innings. Ken didn't get the decision -- the Astros eventually lost 2-1 in 13 innings.
- July 7 - left the game with a muscle spasm in his pitching arm after facing two batters. Forsch didn't pitch again until July 31.
- Sept 23 - Pitched a scoreless 12th inning to earn the victory in Houston's 4-3 win over the LA Dodgers
- Other card blogs: 1978, 1976, 1975, 1974, 1973
- Something I just noticed ---- Ken has card #357 in both the 1975 and 1976 sets
