1977 Topps Baseball #356 - Checklist #265-396
- Here is an all-star team based on this series of cards:
- C - Gary Carter, Jim Sundberg
- 1B - Lee May, Mike Hargrove
- 2B - Willie Randolph, Jerry Remy
- SS - Bert Campaneris, Toby Harrah
- 3B - Brooks Robinson, Ken Reitz
- OF - Dave Winfield, Reggie Smith, Lou Brock, George Foster, Dave Parker, Ken Griffey
- Starting Pitcher - Mark Fidrych, John Montefusco, Jim Hunter, Jerry Koosman, Steve Rogers
- Relief Pitcher - Kent Tekulve, Gene Garber, Terry Forster, Rich Gossage
- This team would be loaded with outfielders. I didn't even include Rick Monday, Amos Otis, George Hendrick, Mickey Rivers, Larry Hisle, or Hal McRae. Perhaps some of them could be traded for some infield help
- Hall of Famers in this series (6): Jim Hunter, Brooks Robinson, Gary Carter, Rich Gossage, Lou Brock, Dave Winfield

1977 Topps Baseball #208 - Checklist 133-264
- It's a checklist.
- It would have been better if Topps had put unnumbered checklists (both team and series) in each pack. It would have allowed for another special subset or for additional players to have cards.
- Hall of Famers in this series: Mike Schmidt, Bruce Sutter, Tom Seaver, Gaylord Perry. George Brett and Nolan Ryan also appeared in Record Breaker cards.
- A pretty solid All star team can be made from this series:
- Starting Rotation: Tom Seaver, Gaylord Perry, Frank Tanana, Vida Blue, Luis Tiant or J.R. Richard
- Long Relief/Spot Starter: Fred Norman
- Bullpen: Bruce Sutter, Tug McGraw, Ron Reed, Mark Littell
- Catcher: Thurman Munson, Butch Wynegar
- First Base: Chris Chambliss, George Scott
- Second Base: Bill Madlock, Dave Lopes
- Shortstop: Garry Templeton, Mark Belanger
- Third Base: Mike Schmidt, Rich Hebner or Doug DeCinces
- Outfield: Fred Lynn, Dusty Baker, Joe Rudi, Gary Matthews, Ron LeFlore
