Classic card. Not as classic as '76 Lynn, but brings up a lot of memories.
ReplyDeleteI will alway associate Fred Lynn with his 1977 season. In a game I attended, on June 6th, in Minnesota, he made a catch on Dan Ford drive that cleared the center field fence. He caught the ball from behind! The catch was so spectacular that featured in the closing credits of TWIB for years afterwards. The box score only shows it as a flyout, but it was so much more.
