- June 11 - Knocked in 7 runs as the Phillies beat the Atlanta Braves 13-10
- July 24 - Knocked in two runs with a bases-loaded single to help the Phillies beat the San Diego Padres 7-4.
- Sept 19 - Hit two home runs to help Steve Carlton win his 21st game
- Oct 4 - Hit a 2-run homer in the first inning of Philadelphia's 7-5 win over the LA Dodgers in game 1 of the NL Championship Series.
- Finished second to George Foster in NL MVP voting

Great card. Luzinski, Garvey, Jones and Kingman were an oasis in all the desert of Reds All-Stars in the '77 set.
